Research on the influence law of the effective fragment number of fragment warhead

Abstract: This paper numerically simulates the fragmentation flying process of the prefabricated fragment warhead based on AUTODYN software after it penetrates into the ground at a certain depth. The effects of different penetration depths, initiation modes and falling angles on the dispersion law of fragments and the effective fragment number are analyzed, and the relationship between penetration depth and the proportion of the effective fragment number is obtained. The results show that the penetration depth of warhead is inversely linear proportional to the number of effective fragments. The detonation of the center point of the bottom end surface is more conducive to the formation of effective fragments flying into the air. When the falling angle is within a certain range, the warhead with a smaller falling angle produces more effective fragments.
