Based on a small caliber ammunition launching platform of a 35 mm anti aircraft artillery, this paper uses an experimental projectile to simulate the damage effect of APDS at a velocity of 1 000 m on typical targets such as fixed wing aircrafts, attack helicopters, light armoured vehicles and cruise missiles. The 40mm/60° homogeneous armour plate, effectively protected cockpit simulation targets, the simulated target of fuel tanks and the simulated warheads are fired in sequence. The results show that the APDS can effectively penetrate the 40mm/60° homogeneous armour plate, with an average value of 388.6 for a comprehensive damage coefficient to effectively protect the cockpit simulation targets. The detonation rate of the 0# diesel fuel tank can reach 80%, which can effectively detonate the warhead of B explosive. The relevant test data obtained provide a certain reference for the theoretical design and damage performance evaluation of the APDS. |
