Abstract: In order to study the influence of drilling parameters on the drilling axial force of drilling carbon fiber reinforced composites, this paper establishes a simulation model of the reinforced composites and obtains the drilling axial force by selecting different drilling parameters for drilling simulation. The orthogonal test method is selected to carry out a drilling process test, in which the selected drilling parameters are the same as those of the process simulation, and several groups of different drilling axial forces are obtained. The simulation results are compared with the test results to verify the validity of the established simulation model. Based on this drilling simulation model, the single factor test method is used to further simulate the drilling process, and the influence of the drilling carbon fiber reinforced composites on the drilling axial force with different drilling parameters is obtained. The research results show that the drilling parameter that has the greatest influence on the drilling axial force is the diameter of the drill bit, followed by the feed rate and cutting speed. The drilling axial force increases with an increase of either the diameter of the drill bit or the feed rate.
