In order to study early warning of electro optical distributed aperture system (EODAS)on ballistic missiles, this paper establishes an ellipsoid model of infrared radiation (IR)of missile tail flames and improves the IR atmosphere transmission model based on the Elterman model which has an O3 concentration varying with the altitude. The trajectory data and IR data of the single stage solid missile are simulated by a dynamics model and an IR model of ballistic missiles. By analyzing the temperature variation of the skin during flight and comparing the IR brightness of the tail flames with that of the skin flames, this paper obtains the variation law of the ballistic missile IR with the flight time. Finally, the early warning of EODAS to ballistic missiles is studied based on the infrared system detection model and the infrared atmospheric transmission model. The research shows that if EODAS is disposed at the half range of the tactical ballistic missile, the whole warning of the missile is basically realized. |
