In multi source microgrids, aiming at the problem that the system stability is reduced due to the inconsistency of response speed and output characteristics of an inverter and a diesel generator set in parallel operation, this paper proposes an inverter control method of a virtual diesel generator based on the control strategy of a virtual synchronous machine. Considering the output characteristics of the diesel generator, by adding the control equations of a diesel generator prime mover and an exciter into the governor and the exciter of the virtual synchronous machine, this paper designs the controllers of the virtual diesel engine and the virtual exciter so that the inverter can better simulate the output characteristics of the diesel generator, which improves the stability of the parallel system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by Matlab/Simulink simulation tool. |
