At present, a flight fragmentation test of ground based simulation space is a very important means of space debris testing. The test method of flight parameters of ground based simulation space debris is an important technical support for the test of parameters of ground based simulation space debris. In view of the testing of space debris simulated on a millimeter level ground, this paper proposes a method with high accuracy of speed measurement, good reliability, visual test results and low cost. Through the flight test of ground based simulated space debris, the images of debris with a velocity of 4 000 m/s and a radial size of 2 mm are frozen. The vertical distance of the camera from the fragment flight trajectory is 400 mm, and the shooting field of view has an area of 600 mm×400 mm. Two instantaneous images of debris motion are obtained on one image, which directly reflects the morphological characteristics of the debris. The flight parameters of the simulated space debris are calculated, and the contrast test results are compared with those of this test method. It proves that this method can be used in flight tests of ground based simulated space debris. |
