Optimization method of precision forming process parameters of warhead fusion casting charge

Abstract: In order to meet the requirement of precise and efficient forming of warheads, this paper proposes an intelligent optimization method of fusion casting charge molding process parameters based on digital twin. A digital twin platform for melting and casting charge molding is firstly constructed. Then, a nonlinear coupling prediction model between charge molding process parameters and molding quality performance indexes is constructed. Finally, the process parameters are optimized and the optimal solution is output by DNSGA Ⅱ A dynamic multi objective optimization algorithm. The experimental results show that method can effectively conduct dynamic optimization of multiple process parameters during the charge forming process of DNAN based aluminum containing melt cast explosive. Compared with the traditional method, the optimal process parameters under the current process conditions can be fast obtained, and the charge quality significantly improves after the optimization of process parameters.
