Study on plastic pressure measurement based on shape memory alloy

Abstract: This paper selects Ni Ti shape memory alloy as plastic pressure measurement target materials, and designs a target plate with a diameter of 30 mm and a thickness of 0.2 mm, which realizes the reuse of the plastic pressure measurement target. Cyclic load is applied to the target plate by a quasi static pressure device. The results show that the target plate can obtain stable mechanical properties with a good deformation repeatability after at least 9 cycles of training, which is feasible to be used as a plastic pressure measurement target. The pressure measurement model of the plastic pressure measurement target is obtained through a shock tube calibration experiment, which can be used to measure the reflected pressure in a range of 0.14 MPa to 1.3 MPa.
