The log normal distribution of incremental gust load extremum is the key requirement for TWIST load spectrum discretization, and the existing discrete methods have the problem of multiple variables and insufficient representation of load classification. Based on the representative conditions of load classification, a single iteration variable TWIST load spectrum discretization method that satisfies the log normal distribution of the extreme values of the incremental gust loads is proposed. Firstly, the representative conditions of load classification are derived, and then the recursive formulas of the cumulative flight probability of exceedance corresponding to the extreme value of incremental load at all levels and their boundaries are obtained. Then, the number of flights of each flight type is solved by the clipping value of incremental gust load. Taking the standard deviation of the log normal distribution as the iteration variable, the parameters of the log normal distribution are determined by using the clipping value and the truncation value, and then the discrete loads at all levels are solved. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by two examples, the European 10 by 10 spectrum and the Boeing 5 by 5 spectrum. |
