A new type of double layer shaped is designed to improve the penetration power. In order to study the advantages of the shaped charge in penet ration, the propagation process of detonation wave and the formation of JPC are studied with the finite element code Autodyn. The characteristic parameters of JPC and its penetration performance are researched by numerical simulation. The research shows that the restraining tube in the new type of double layer shaped charge can effectively prevent the rarefaction wave from entering the inner charge, and obtain higher kinetic energy, improve the charge utilization ratio and cooperate with the forming of the composite liner, thus improving the characteristic parameters of JPC. Moreover, the penetration depth of JPC in the new shaped charge is 11.35% higher than that of the ordinary double layer shaped structure with high outside and low inside, which is conducive to armor breaking. |
