Research on damage evaluation model of effective in rocket launcher caused by Fuel Air Explosive overpressure effect

Abstract: To explore the overpressure effect of the FAE on the effective in the rocket launcher, based on the ground power field of the FAE experimental data, AUTODYN software was used to calculate and explore the distribution and rule of overpressure in rocket launcher. Based on the Monte Carlo method and the overpressure killing criterion, the damage assessment method of FAE overpressure on the effective in the rocket launcher was put forward. Combined with the explosion similar law, the corresponding damage assessment model was established and verified based on the 33 kg FAE example. The results show that the overpressure in the kneeling plane is higher than that in the sitting plane, the overpressure in the co driver area is higher than that in the main driving area. the overpressure in the fire control room is same. For charge 160 kg and 33 kg FAE, the blocking rate of the effective in the rocket launcher is reduced from 1 to 0 at 28~36.35 m and 11.35~15.46 m, respectively. The damage assessment method calculated results are basically consistent with the actual data, and the difference is less than 2.5%, which can be used as a reference for the FAE design.
