Abstract: A numerical simulation of the damaging effect of tunnel pipe was carried out, and the shock wave action process, pipe damage evolution process, and pipe failure mechanism were analyzed. Parameter analysis was carried out to compare the effects of different explosion weights and distances on the degree of damage. The results show that under the action of water explosion, the damage process of the tunnel pipe exceeds the action time of the shock wave. Under the same explosive, the damage degree of the front wall of the pipe decreases with the increase of the explosion distance; The degree of damage to the rear wall is mainly affected by the explosion weights, and the explosion distance has less influence on it. Taking the displacement deformation as the damage index, the critical curves of structural failure are given, which can be used to evaluate the failure degree of the tunnel pipe.
