For meeting the requirements of structural health monitoring of carbon fiber composites in aerospace, the sensing characteristics of femtosecond laser point by point direct writing fiber grating (fsFBG) sensor integrated with carbon fiber composites were studied. In this paper, fsFBG are arranged on the surface and between layers of carbon fiber composite laminates. Static load and low speed impact load tests are carried out on carbon fiber composite laminates. The sensitivity and difference of fsFBG on the surface and between different layers are systematically analyzed, and the corresponding relationship between the center wavelength shift of fsFBG and the loading distance and loading angle is obtained. The experiment shows that the surface bonded fsFBG is more sensitive to static and dynamic loads. Under static and dynamic loads, the shift of the center wavelength of the fsFBG increases linearly with the increase of the load; It decreases with the increase of loading distance. In addition, fsFBG also has a good load direction sensitivity, and the response sensitivity of the sensor gradually increases with the increase of the loading angle. |
