Abstract: In order to study the influence of muzzle vibration characteristics on firing accuracy, this paper takes a certain type of automatic gun as the research object, makes reasonable assumptions on the model, and analyzes the constraint relationship between the components of the automatic gun system. Based on the multi body dynamics theory of gun firing, considering the factors such as barrel flexibility and mechanism clearance, a dynamic simulation model of a certain type of automatic gun is established. The accuracy of the simulation model is verified by the recoil force and recoil displacement curve of recoil and counter recoil during horizontal firing of artillery. The simulation model of the dynamic characteristics of the automatic gun in single and continuous firing is simulated, and the dynamic characteristics of the muzzle in single and continuous firing are obtained. According to the vibration characteristics of the muzzle at the moment of each projectile leaving the muzzle, the density of the kilometer target is preliminarily calculated. The simulation results and the calculation results of vertical target density have certain reference value for the improvement of artillery firing accuracy and structural optimization.
