Design method for electromagnetic noise reduction of AC traction motors based on optimization of stator slot structure

Abstract: A design method for electromagnetic noise reduction based on stator slot structure optimization is proposed to address the problem of excessive electromagnetic noise in AC traction motors. On the basis of analyzing the mechanism of electromagnetic noise generated by AC traction motors, this article conducts research on the specific design method for noise reduction by slotting at the bottom of its stator slot, as well as the optimization of slotting position and notch parameters. Through technical verification and comparative analysis before and after slotting treatment, the results show that the optimization of the stator slot structure of AC traction motors used in this article has a significant effect on electromagnetic noise reduction while maintaining efficiency.
