Non pneumatic tyres are less prone to bursting and more stable than ordinary pneumatic tyres, which can effectively improve the ability of special vehicles to cope with extreme road surfaces and complex operating environments. Firstly, the current status and trends of research on non pneumatic tyres are outlined in the light of the huge potential of non pneumatic tyres for special vehicles. Secondly, the methods of performance analysis and mechanism study of non pneumatic tyres are summarized, and it is found that the structure, stiffness and surface smoothness of their support bodies are the key to affecting vibration and noise during tyre operation. The topology optimization and mechanical characteristics research methods are collated according to the design requirements of non pneumatic tyres. Thirdly, according to the design requirements of non inflatable tires, the topological optimization and mechanical characteristics of non inflatable tires were analyzed and sorted out. It will be of great research value to solve the performance problems of non inflatable tires with bionic structure. |
