The research progress of combustion supporting effect of fluorine containing materials on boron powders is systematically reviewed, and the combustion supporting mechanism is analyzed in the paper. The research results showed that no matter inorganic fluorine containing materials, organic fluorine containing materials or self assembled fluorine containing materials, they had certain combustion supporting effects on the combustion of boron powder. However, there are significant differences in the combustion supporting effects of different fluorine based materials on boron powder. The emerging self assembled fluorine based materials have a regular structure and may have great application value, which is worthy of in depth research. Analysis shows that the combustion supporting mechanism of fluorine based materials is the catalytic effect of fluorine free radicals or free radicals containing fluorine groups, which has important reference significance for the application scenarios of materials. Based on a large number of literature data, the paper proposes for the first time that materials with low hydrogen content, easy pyrolysis and easy to produce fluorine atoms and free radicals containing fluoroalkanes and fluoroalkenes during pyrolysis will have better combustion supporting effect on boron powder. The research results of the paper are expected to have important reference value for practitioners in the explosives and propellants industry. |
