Aiming at the complicated thermal environment of engine compartment and the lack of accurate and rapid evaluation method, a rapid evaluation method of engine compartment ventilation and cooling based on one dimensional mathematical model was proposed. Based on the analysis of typical thermal environment and heat transfer characteristics of engine cabin, the three dimensional CFD model of ventilation and cooling of engine cabin and the numerical model of rapid evaluation based on AMESIM are established. The temperature distribution of engine cabin under different cooling gas flow rate and temperature is analyzed, and the relative errors between the two models are compared. The results show that when the cooling gas flow rate is 0.2~1.0 kg/s, the relative error between the numerical model and the three dimensional CFD model is less than 3.5%; When the cooling gas temperature is 353.15~ 423.15 K , the relative error between the rapid evaluation numerical model and the three dimensional CFD model is less than 4%. |
