Abstract: In order to analyze the launching stability of the long distance capture net projectile, based on the platform of LS DYNA, the finite element model(FEM) of the capture net projectile body is established, the law of energy transfer after explosion is simulated, and the performance of the capture net projectile is evaluated. The results show that the projectile body can be fully expandable at the stress concentration, and large deformation occurred first at the grooves with progressive energy decayed. The research can provide a basis for expanding the application of capture net projectile.
