Abstract: In order to further study the influence of orifice die on the morphology and quality of particles in the process of extrusion pelletizing, finite element method and numerical simulation were used in this paper to analyze the pressure situation of charge and the pressure distribution of orifice plate in the process of extrusion pelletizing. The number of holes, aperture and thickness of orifice plate in the orifice die were simulated by means of simulation. According to the design principle of orifice mold design of multi scheme design, through the experimental study of different hole number, aperture, hole distribution, mold material and other factors, on the effect of granulation effect, granule size, granulation yield, granule drying, plastic molding process. The results showed that when the hole plate mold was designed with a diameter of 10 mm/162 holes, the holes were arranged into a regular hexagon, the material was copper, and the holes were designed with a structure of small inlet and large outlet, the particles were distributed evenly under pressure, and the particles obtained from granulation were plasticized appropriately and uniform in size, so as to obtain the best morphology and quality of the particles in extrusion granulation, and ensure that the particles could be quickly dissolved in the solvent in the subsequent plasticizing process. Finally, rapid, homogeneous and safe plasticizing process is realized, providing reliable support for continuous production and optimal product quality.
