In order to evaluate the anti explosion performance of explosion proof composite structures for armored vehicles, a bench test method and a simulated cabin test method based on the explosion proof criterion of bottom deck damage level and human injury/protection level were proposed. A test platform for explosion proof composite structure resistant to 6 kg TNT equivalent was established, and the anti explosion performance verification test of explosion proof composite structure with 6 kg TNT equivalent was carried out. The deformation of the substrate after the bench test is 47.451 mm, and the test data of the simulated dummy in the cabin after the simulated cabin test are within the damage threshold, which show that the explosion proof composite structure with 6 kg TNT equivalent have good anti explosion performance, have a certain protective effect on the bottom deck of the armored vehicle, and can effectively protect the personnel inside the simulated cabin. In addition, the above test results also show that the proposed bench test method and simulated cabin test method can better assess and evaluate the anti explosion performance of explosion proof composite structures for armored vehicles. |
