Solid propellants containing microscopic defects (microcracks and micropores) may be subject to accidental detonation when loaded by low pressure and long pulse, which seriously affects the safety of solid propellants. Starting from the ignition mechanism of solid propellants, the observation experiments and characterization methods of microscopic defects in solid propellants and the non shock ignition tests are reviewed; the relevant research means and results of numerical simulation of non shock ignition of solid propellants containing microscopic defects are sorted out; and based on the types of microscopic defects in solid propellants, the influence of microscopic defects on the non shock ignition performance of solid propellants is systematically summed up, and the effect of the non shock ignition performance on the non shock ignition performance of solid propellants containing microscopic defects is summarized. Numerical simulation study of non shock ignition performance of solid propellant with fine defects and the development of test equipment for non shock ignition are also prospected. |
