Abstract: As an important method for studying the landing buffer of airborne vehicles, system modeling and simulation were used to simulate the processes of airbag exhausting compression, vehicle buffer overload, attitude change, and structural impact response during landing buffer stage. The existing theories, methods, and research conclusions in four aspects: system modeling, matching design, semi physical experiments, and air dropping adaptability evaluation were summarized. The current problems of simulation efficiency, simulation accuracy on structural stress and airbag exhausting, parameter matching of vehicle and airbag, semi physical experiments, and air dropping adaptability evaluation were analyzed and summarized, then, further research directions were proposed.
