Research status and prospects of powder and granular explosives weighing

| Abstract: | Given the slow development and lack of systematic research in powder and granular explosives weighing technology, existing technologies can no longer meet the ammunition industry’s demands for efficient, precise, and safe weighing. Based on the state of the art of the automatic weighing technology, the technical connotation of automatic powder and granular explosives weighing is elaborated. A research framework for automatic explosives weighing technology was established, with a detailed analysis of its working principle, device composition, and influencing factors. By classifying and comparing different feeding methods, the basic principles for the safety of automatic explosives weighing is further explained, from the perspectives of flow performance, static elimination, and dust protection. Finally, it points out the developing trends of the automatic weighing technology is intrinsic safety, intrinsic safe, precise, integrated, and modular. |
