Reliability simulation analysis method considering uncertainty for pressure relief valve

Abstract: As a key component in certain aircraft, pressure reducers play an important role in reducing and stabilizing pressure, and play an important role in the safe operation of the system. Therefore, the reliability of pressure reducers is highly noteworthy. In this article, failure mode and mechanism analysis was conducted on the pressure reducer, and fatigue failure was identified as the main failure mode, while structural fatigue and crack propagation were the main failure mechanisms. Establish a reliability simulation model for key components of the pressure reducer, combine uncertainty factors, inject the influence of geometric, process, environmental or load and material parameter uncertainties, and complete uncertainty parameter modeling and sampling. Based on the research results of fault modes, mechanism models, and uncertainty simulation analysis, sort out the data inputs required for reliability evaluation, conduct reliability evaluation on key components of the pressure reducer, use finite difference algorithm to conduct sensitivity analysis on key factors affecting reliability, and provide reference for pressure reducer design optimization.
