Abstract: To study the distribution characteristics of overpressure behind a rigid anti blast wall, a dimensional analysis method was used to derive the functional relationship between the peak overpressure behind the wall and the explosive parameters, initial air parameters, and size parameters. The AUTODYN software was used to calculate the interaction process between the explosion shock wave and the anti blast wall under two diffracted waves and a single diffracted wave, as well as the peak pressure characteristics at the measuring point behind the wall. The analysis and calculation results indicate that the peak overpressure at the measuring point behind the wall is a function of six dimensionless variables. Due to the influence of the ground, the pressure curve at the measuring point behind the wall will have 1 4 peaks, and the number of peaks is related to the location of the measuring point. A calculation method for the peak overpressure of the first peak at the measuring point behind the wall was established based on the results of dimensional analysis and the idea of equivalent path. Further introducing the assumptions of linear superposition and inverse square relationship, a calculation method for secondary peak to peak overpressure at measuring points behind walls is proposed based on the mirror explosion source method. The accuracy and applicability of the calculation method were verified through experiments and numerical simulations. Compared with the experimental results, the relative errors of the first peak and second peak calculation methods were 11.8% and 4.2%, respectively.
