To achieve precise manufacturing of an asymmetric TC4 axis component, this paper deeply studies the high precision forming process of cross wedge rolling and designes the flat cross wedge rolling tools according to the characteristics of part. Using finite element software, simulation at different rolling temperatures is carried out and process parameters are optimized. The temperature, stress strain, and damage distribution during the forming process of the rolled parts with three rolling temperatures of 600 ℃, 800 ℃, and 1 000 ℃ are analyzed. The results show that the dimensional accuracy of the rolled parts is the best at rolling temperature of 1 000 ℃. Experimental verification is carried out through flat cross wedge rolling mill, experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results. The microstructure of the rolled piece exhibits gradient distribution along the radial direction, has no obvious defects, and meets the target requirements. |
