Based on the source and physical characteristics of noise in the shooting process of small arms, this paper explains the principle of adding a silencer to the muzzle of small arms to suppress firing noise by analyzing the difference between the muzzle silencer and the linear acoustic silencer. According to the design target of the muzzle silencer, the energy distribution of propellant gas can be adjusted to reduce the conversion of propellant gas energy to noise sound energy at the muzzle. The muzzle silencer design is divided into four parts according to the generation and propagation of muzzle noise and the design cases of each part are analyzed. Finally, the development trend of muzzle silencer design combined with computer simulation technology and optimization technology is prospected. |
