Attitude control of morphing aircraft based on uncertain LPV system

Abstract: This paper studies the design of LPV multi objective controller based on double layer polytopic description morphing aircraft attitude system against the effects of scheduling parameters and system uncertainties. The first polytopic layer manages varying parameters and designs gain scheduling controllers on each vertex uncertain system; the second polytopic layer is built on each vertex system for robust design of closed loop control systems. The designed problem can be transformed into solving a finite number of linear matrix inequalities. The simulation results show that the morphing aircraft system can better track the angle of attack reference signal and has good robust performance against the system uncertainty under the proposed controller.
