In recent years, Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) have developed in the direction of small size, low power consumption, and low cost. This trend makes it possible to implement autonomous pedestrian navigation systems using inertial sensor arrays. Therefore, the application of this aspect has attracted extensive attention from researchers, and many phased results have been achieved. Firstly, this article summarizes and analyzes the configuration methods and error models of different inertial sensor arrays. What's more, it evaluates the data fusion accuracy of inertial sensor arrays under different fusion frameworks. Secondly, it evaluates the data fusion accuracy of inertial sensor arrays with different fusion frameworks. Finally, it also distills and summarizes the application and existing issues of zero velocity update algorithms in pedestrian navigation. At the same time, it discusses the application characteristics and development trends of inertial sensor arrays in pedestrian navigation. |
